36" Poseable Darth Vader WIP

This is the lined, A-4 Version of the model that Norturno and I are working on. It's a 36 inch Darth Vader model that you can pose by rotating around the various axis where connections are to be made at the neck, legs and arms and wrist. Additionally, there is a complete and textured head of Anakin Skywalker that you can pose without the helmet.
http://www.4shared.com/office/c5P0Y7Um/36_inch_Vader_WIP-1.html? This is a Large file and comes in at 103 Meg as it is a High Res version. No lines and Letter sized versions are on the way.
Added: 36" Vader, No Lines..... http://www.4shared.com/office/lf7S5DkU/36_inch_Vader_WIP-1_No_Lines.html?

  1. For god sake man, why you nerver share the .pdo file too?

Your papercrafts are so amazing, but it's too hard to assemble with only the pdf.

It's already hard, but without the .pdo it's so damn crazy!!

  2. Claudio, I used to share all of the .pdo's until I found people taking credit for my work. Give me your e-mail and I'll send you the pdo... I'm pretty sure that Noturno has built this, or had it built.

  5. I've started paper modelling and would really love to build this for my husband. I've made a Han Solo trooper from PDF and found the black pieces next to impossible, I'm now doing an Arkham Batman from PDO and it's much more doable. The kids love them on their bedside tables but at 36" someone's in for a surprise. Please could you email me the pdo to ihaveidic@hotmail.co.uk Thanks for your hard work it's brilliant.

  6. It is great !! but I don´t underestand how can we pose it ? the arms, legs and torso looks like one piece ...can you help us ?

  7. Look at the large picture with all of the red lines. As you build it in sections you can choose your pivot points and rotate them around the centerline of that part, those you can pose all of the limbs and the wrist and so on.

  16. I'll see about doing that at some point. right now I am so busy with other issues I really do not have time to track down the file, host it and reply via e-mail. The pdf version will have to suffice for now.

  22. More useful??? Yeah, I'll get right on that... LOL!

  23. Here, this is for everyone. BTW, I do not speak any other language other than English! If you cannot ask your question in my language so that it makes sense, do not expect and answer from me. and now for the rest of you... "More useful?" No, I'm no longer giving out the pdos.... I've said that in the blog post. I do give out new ones on occasion on my facebook page, or through my site, but I got really sick of people taking my work and taking credit for it and putting it out as their own creation. Additionally, I got sick of people profiting off of my work and not even giving me a little credit and actually raking me over the coals.. you want to do it your way? Find the model, learn how to use pep and meta and a couple of other programs and learn how to texture and retexture and pose and do it yourself.

Thank you, have a nice day!
